The Redwoods

I took this lovely photo walking through the redwoods one morning during my recent trip out to Santa Cruz, California for Erin & Yoni's wedding. Enjoy.

ROSS & MOLLY'S BROOKLYN WEDDING

                                             

Molly & Ross were married on 9.10.11, this past Saturday in Brooklyn, New York. The ceremony was at Bubby's, a great venue (and pie company!) in DUMBO. The location is perfect for photos as it's just steps away from Brooklyn Bridge Park which has a great view of the bridge and city. 

I shot the wedding with the amazing Lauren Elle, you can check out her site here. Molly & Ross were so fun to photograph and full of awesome ideas! We spent a couple hours before the wedding trekking all over Prospect Park for photos. Enjoy.

ERIN & YONI'S CALIFORNIA WEDDING

Happy ONE week to Erin & Yoni, who were married just last Sunday in the redwoods north of Santa Cruz, California. This wedding was pretty special as I've known Erin since her UC Santa Cruz college days. I met her through Sasha Felix, my right hand camera woman. They are high school best friends. I recently met Yoni but he is one of those old soul people you feel like you've known for years. Sasha was there (of course) but not to shoot the wedding with me, she was fulfilling her maid of honor duties, or maid-ZILLA as we called her by the end of the weekend! Erin's family was so generous in hosting us all weekend in their beautiful home, where the wedding took place. 

As Sasha was preoccupied, I had to find an awesome second shooter to help. I came across Matt Borden, a talented photographer/UCSC grad/soon to be peace corps member. Also in attendance was the amazing film genius Steve Pappin AKA Son of Shark Pig. I did some HD video with my mark II but his will be epic compared to this little video bite below. All in all it was an amazing wedding and weekend, I could have stayed maybe forever. I ♥ California. Enjoy.
